About me
I am a PhD student in the Nagasaki Lab at Kyushu University, Japan, majoring in Biomedical Information Analysis. My research focuses on building computational tools for Bioinformatics — including deep learning models for predicting RNA binding signals and co-authoring tools like QTFPred, a high-performance quantum machine learning model for transcription factor binding prediction.
Beyond research, I have practical experience in software development, data analysis, and academic teaching. I enjoy bridging the gap between technical complexity and real-world impact — whether that means building reliable systems, deriving meaningful insights from biological data, or communicating complex ideas clearly to diverse audiences.
Outside the lab, I am a guitarist, vocalist, and songwriter. Music has been a constant companion across countries and cultures — from Ghana to China to Japan — and writing songs is how I process the world when code and data are not enough.
